Feels like just about any index will outperform the S&P right now. I don't really believe in "clean" or "alternative" energy, but I think there are enough people out there who do believe or want to believe so the price will be driven up. There is no replacement for oil. Not now and not for a REALLY long time. There is plenty of oil out there, so until that supply starts to dry up, oil will still rule the world. As for uranium, it takes a really long time/money to build nuclear plants. Both luxuries many countries can't afford. That's of course assuming the UN doesn't try to kill you with "tactical strikes".
