I’m shocked to discover that I haven’t given QCOM a rec on Caps, because I bought it back at 45. It’s remarkable that a solid long-term bet has been driven back to sale-rack levels by short-term constraints on manufacturing capabilities. In addition to Apple’ products,, there are over 200 devices using Qualcomm’s new 8960 chip. In the coming years the current manufacturing constraints will be dealt with. TSMC can’t remain under productive forever, and Samsung will start manufacturing some of Qualcomm’s 28nm products.
