This is an ETF which shorts all of the stocks in the NASDAQ100 (computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology). If it would short Financial and Real Estate securites too I would have to buy some in real life.
It pains me to say this, but retail & tech stocks are approaching a bear market so for the short term I'm picking this ETF to OUTPERFORM.
I don't understand why there are a number of allstars are picking this to underperform.
If you want to short Financials and Real-Estate, try the SKF and the SRS!
It is because the experts are split between "We are at or near the bottom" and "Don't trust past earnings in your P/E calculations".I am in the Bear camp. I think that the immediate market signs will warn us to get out of these shorts before the stock prices and earnings reports do, and the immediate market signs apear to me to be dismal.I am predicting that I will need to stay short until about July. I might start dropping my smaller cap green thumb tech stock picks at the top of the next rally.
