A great company in an expanding industry. If you need further evidence of this growing trend (outside of President Bush's initiative), California Gov Schwarzenegger just introduced legislation that, among other things, requires electronic records by 2010 in hospitals and electronic prescription programs by the same time. If passed this should open up a very large market for small players like QSII.

It will be mandated that electronic records be kept for all hospital transactions - prescriptions, charts, etc... very soon. According to HIPPA - Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. I work at a Oncology/Hematology center. We have to keep electronic copies of everything now. Basically, electronic records will be required and you're right, it does open a huge market up for Quality Systems, INC.. Great post!
