Rambus' new technology, transferring data directly to the processor, could lead to dramatic improvements in computer speed. For the moment it is limited to Sony's new playstation. You can bet Intel and AMD are interested.

These guys will never get paid what they think they are worth. Note that RDRAM is no where to be found... goes to show that finding a peaceful way to settle patent disputes is worth giving better rates to potential customers.
