1. FRAM is a nano-technology memory that does not use power. Until other non-volatile memories (PCRAM, PRAM, MRAM, RRAM...etc) starts to mass produce, it is the only non-volatile memory available that operates at nano speed (4 mb at 130nm is currently the highest density).

FRAM is a non volatile memory that does not use power to remember stored information. FRAM uses power for write and read operations which take around 70 nanoseconds, a speed similar to existing DRAM and SRAM. Fujitsu, Samsung and Toshiba also manufacture FRAM.
