The development of new technology and phramaceuticals in the biotech field will bring great rewards going forward if your in early. Based on projections of new drugs to come to market and the need for better technology to assist this market will bring a winfall for investors. I was taken completely by surprise with that news release about the 75 million shelf offering and the sale of around 3 million shares by officers of the company. I'm holding a substantial position in the company and normally don't like to hold thru earnings reports but I knew they have been doing a great job this qtr. and had completed almost 1/3 more deals this qtr over the previous qtr so I thought I was on to a good one and held thru the earnings report. Thurs. a.m. I was quite estatic when I read the report around 7:30 a.m. and left my home office early for a meeting thinking nothing but good thoughts having seen some of how the early premarket trading was going. When I got back to my office around 10 a.m. I was shocked to see that the stock was selling off and it wasn't until then that I got wind of that news release on Wed. What they did was obnoxious and without conscience or any concern for their shareholders with waiting until the day before earnings to release that news item. They had all the time in the world to release that news beforehand and when they did it they did it very discreetly. Shame on RODM and their officers. It is just another blatant realization that they are only concerned about themselves and that as traders we have to be on the ball 110% of the time and cannot count on a company's management in any fashion to protect you or your positions.
