Sprint Nextel is currently quite out of favor by the market. The wireless communications market, though not growing as fast as it once did, is still a growing industry. Several very well-respected value investors have been building positions in Sprint Nextel. I choose to align my interests with these smart value investors (Capital Research, Legg Mason, Davis Selected Advisors, and Southeastern Asset Management).
