Traditional cell phones are going to die. VOIP over mobile broadband is the future, and Sprint is leading the charge in that direction. Short term, who knows, long term, I like their chances.

Sprint will eventually get out of the mess it is in. It will take a couple of years, but the outcome will be great. 4G (WiMax) network will be the basis for data customers retention, and the Google deal will lead the way to higher profits.

No business in US can survive without quality cusotmer service and Sprint is the worst among its competitors. I myself have been a Sprint subscriber for the last 2 years and know it first hand how bad Sprint treats its customers.
