Lot of the customer and margin erosion already priced in. New management taking steps to rectify some problems. From here on (early Feb-08) it's likelt that Sprint stock should perform better than peers.

So ridiculously cheap right now compared to assets (spectrum ownership, Tier 1 backbone, customer base, even though they're leaving in droves) that you just can't go wrong. Whether a buyout or a turnaround, this stock will make you happy in 3-4 year...

Sprint will eventually get out of the mess it is in. It will take a couple of years, but the outcome will be great. 4G (WiMax) network will be the basis for data customers retention, and the Google deal will lead the way to higher profits.
