No matter what the price of gas, no matter what interest rates are doing to your mortgage, we all want a little luxury -- and starbucks offers it for $3 a pop. And, its always around the corner.

I'm a graduate student (read: nearly broke), and on the desks of all most graduate students that I work with is a green and white cup. Time and time again I hear, "I know that I could save money if I made my own coffee, but I always seem to stop in there." It's not expensive coffee; it's cheap comfort.
