This company sells a legally addictive product. And they make it so much better than their competitors that I willingly drive 5 miles out of the way every morning to get an expensive cup of Starbucks instead of suffering with the brew from McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Burger King, 7-11, Caribou, and Dunkin Donuts which are all on my way in to work. Yes, it's that good. And the stock is that good also.

I like SBUX as long as people like you are around. I have noticed customer service is slipping at the stores though. It could be a bad sign or just a coincidence that I keep noticing it. Surprisingly, the pastries seem to have improved.

Starbucks offers more than just a good cup of coffee. They offer a comfortable sitting area when you have a few minutes, and they offer drinks that are comfortable to those who do not "do" caffine - try the Chai Tea Latte sometime.
