ComScore identifies itself as an "internet marketing research company," however, most internet privacy advocates have long considered ComScore to be nothing more than a large-scale Spyware operation. In general, most people aren't too comfortable with the idea of a company whose product's sole purpose is to monitor and record data on literally everything you do online. If, at any time, the government were to impose any new internet privacy-related laws which forbade this type of practice, that could definitely have a negative impact on the company. As such, I think this is a very risky kind of company to invest in, and would rather just stay away.
