The Conan-Holder valuation model says this company has a 90% chace of being liquidated in the next year(it's less than MINUS TEN folks, drop this sucker).

Can you provide any research data on its validity? I have looked for this information myself and am having difficulty finding any references to Conan Holder or Conan-Holder.

I suppose with the recent profits and the management reports from the last couple of quarters you must have missed this one or got the names mixed up with another company. The CEO came from Duke during the spin off and I don't think he went to shut it down. This manager is a winner.

instead of hiding behind what you claim an obscure model says, why don't you provide some useful input, like WHY you think the company will go under.

there could be some legit reasons, like high debt load.

but don't push someone else's view that you don't understand yourself, that doesn't help anyone learn about investing...

If you read the prospectus you'll see that there is a web of partnership with the separate trust by the same name. Also, East Tennessee & B.C. & Texas are all part-owned. A typical infrastructure ...structure. Easier to combine to make, but wholesale liquidation not likely (based on structure, not the cited method!)

I think we can call this Spectra Energy 1, Conan-Holder 0.
