It had been a couple years since I visited a Sears. I did so yesterday in San Diego because I was out shopping for a new washer. Traffic was pitiful, merchandise was cheap looking, and the store itself was dirty and poorly kept. Later on I went to a Sears Outlet to see if I could score a deal. Even Sears Outlet was more expensive than Lowe's for the cosmetically damaged merchandise. On top of being more expensive they wanted $70 for delivery and $10 to haul away the old washer. Lowe's delivered and removed for free. I won't go back to Sears for another couple years.
I could not agree more, and I live in a poor region, but I notice your not getting any traction on your score....
Ya...not doing so hot in the short run here. But I stand firm in my belief that Sears sucks rotten eggs.
