Sirf is *the* infrastructure player for low-cost GPS solutions. A huge number of low-cost GPS solutions use Sirf technology, and the market for low-cost GPS is exploding, for consumer products, telematics, and all other kinds of applications.

SIRF is the supplier for GPS chip used in Garmin/TomTom GPS systems. Whoever wins the GPS will use SIRF. Other applications still to be tapped e.g. asset tracking, cell phones, laptops. Growth ahead.

I can't help but enjoy the Garmin adverts that are coming out this holiday season. . . and knowing that SiRF chips are powering Garmin devices. I think SiRF will be the Intel of GPS devices.
