Six Flags' parks offer only deception to their customers when comparing to other theme parks. First of all, they cost much more than other comparable parks. For example, before becoming a Six Flags park, La Ronde ticket price was around 25$ (10 years ago) and now it is 50$. Plus, they rely on the expensive Fast ticket (80$) that you need to buy if you want to make more than 3 roller coasters. Ceder Fair it less strategic company from investors standpoint, but they actually work to improve their park... not to artificially boost their money. In conclusion, Six Flags is still better positioned to win here, but tide could change if they continue to rely on ticket price increase strategy instead of actually improve park experience.
