Skilled Health Care Group is selling for 0.59 times book value and 6.8 times its estimated FY 2010 earnings. On the other hand, the good will of this company exceeds it book value, which means that tangible book value is zero. Also, the debt load is very high (probably 10 years worth of earnings). Despite these negative, I am sure Skilled Health Care will survive for awhile and it fortunes will wax and wane. In the last year, three months and one month, this stock has trailed the market. I suspect that the next big move will be up.
