The arguments in favor of this position are presented in our earlier pitch for GLD. As with GLD, we see SLV not so much as an investment, but rather as a good way to hedge against a decline of fiat currency in general, and the dollar in particular.

There is more gold than silver above and below ground and silver has more industrial usages. Gold historically has traded at a premium of 30X silver and it is now 50X. The weakening dollar should fuel silver prices as well.

Should have put the thumbs up on this one year ago.

However, Silver is still way undervalued relative to gold and other commodities.

And thanks to helicopter ben, even at 20/oz, you have a decent shot at a double within a year.
