The playstation 3 is not going to bring the market to Song the same way the playstation 2 did five years ago. It is to expensive and with blue ray not yet accepted as the next generation DVD this could cause a huge slump in Sony stock.

Some new management and a new philosophy. Sony has been great in the past and can be reawakened quite easily. The PS3 will do well once they get it out the door and Blu-ray will also do well. The Sony brand still resonates with customers.

Weak demand for the sold-at-a-loss PS3 will cut into Sony's profits and put a downward pressure on the stock. Watch for smaller process Cell chips to come out to help lower the per-unit loss.
