I'm shorting a slew of restaurants in which beef is a specialty item. They are going to get bombarded from every possible angle: increasing food costs brought on by massive increases in both transportation costs and the costs of feed for livestock; slowing consumer demand sparked by shrinking discretionary incomes; and rising wages for their employees brought on by the Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007. Ouch.
