In hard times people will have to choose between luxury items and items that they will need to live on and as far as i know everyone will need to have groceries.
To further expand on previous statement since im new to the pitch game. Spartan Stores is not large like Meijers and is only in the midwest MI, northern OH, northern IN. That leaves them plenty of room to expand into different markets/regions if they choose to. Have very competitive prices and you can pick their products up in different stores like, Kroger, Meijer, and Walmart. Also try to cut prices through transportation by using their private fleet for warehouse to store moves and use other companies to transport freight into their 2 warehouses in Plymouth and Grand Rapids, MI.
