20 years ago I worked in a lumber yard and Simpson was the best product available and we special ordered them for contractors. Today the are still the best, they are typically the only metal tie specified by Architects and Engineers and Home Depot stocks a very large selection of there hangers, ties, straps, and nails. This stock has already gone down in value likely due to the soft housing market. They may very well continue to go down. I believe this is a good long term company to own and as I cant predict the bottom now is a good time to buy a good company.;
