I see a lot of people very down on this stock right now. I think this is a hold, and will end up in the $10 area in a year or so--- of course, you should take some profit along the way. And remember--- you cannot look at these little start up companies like you do the big boys. You have to look at how much $$ is coming in, of course. And SSN has minority interest in numerous wells in the Bakken in N Dakota. Receiving revenue from these. Sold off a large chunk of Niobrara to CHK and kept 4.8% royality. Has US$73 million in the bank-- and zero debt as of next month. With Bakken $$ coming in, and the 16,000 acres in the Niobrara they kept 100% interest in, SSN will head up in the long term.
If you don't own it-- buy on dips. If you do-- hold it.
And go to their website-- read everything ,and get on their e-mail list.

I like to see this old posts. buffalonate - was correct 3.94 was over priced at the time of his posting.
verismotex - was wrong this stock will not likely be at $10 by April. Even if we have a full blockage of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran. Still at the current price of 2.21 it seems like a decent buy.
