An integrated oil and gas company, headquartered in Stavanger, Norway which is based on both production and reserves.
It's quite a bargain at the current P/E ratio. The net profit margin is solid and tending to rise slightly over the past 10 years. At the same time, the revenue growth over the last 10 years has been excellent. They've grown net income by around 11B with only 39B additional retained earnings during that time. They increased book value per share by 500% over the last 10 years. Cash operations has seen the same upward trend except in 2009 of course. Now it's selling at a P/E ratio of 6.2 and has a nice dividend. It's still under the same CEO it had since 2004 who oversaw that sustained non-dillutive growth of the company. Of all the big oil companies, it seems like the best deal right now.
