While many solar companies have recently seen hits to their margins because they've been forced to pay higher prices for silicon, STP's recent agreements to secure silicon at fixed prices for the foreseeable future will help alleviate concerns about availability and cost.

Another point, perhaps less important in the grand scheme of things, is that one has to think that, with all of attention that the media has turned to the green factor, the fact that Suntech is powering the Olympic Stadium in Beijing next summer will garner much attention throughout the games and provide some marketing support for the company. Just a thought.
