I got absolutely slaughtered by First Marblehead. STU looks like a safe way to play the recovery of the student loan sector. It's very cheap at the moment.

Great product and limited competition. There will always be a need for student loans as the cost of education continues to soar. Only concern here is needless government regulations.

Has been pretty consistent in both dividend and growth areas. Don't foresee any downturn in the need for student loans. In fact, rates are pretty much near the bottom for student loans, so only one way to go: up. This will bode well for STU.
