Middle-market supermarkets are already under pressure from high-end competitors like Whole Foods and on the low end from WalMart. Tesco is moving in to the US fast with 'Fresh & Easy'. If successful, it will put additional pressure on the mid-market grocery chains. Who actually *likes* shopping at stores like Albertsons?

I love shopping at Albertsons. The store here in La Grande Oregon is fast, friendly, and provide great service. I just see a down ward trend financially is all
