Probably will encounter some problems absorbing albertsons for the next year or so, but when families want to spend less money, as they will next year, SVU will benefit.

sunflower market subsidiary is failing - chicago store is empty all the time, variety is terrible, and worst of all, you can see that there was a lot of money invested into technology, which does not seem to be panning out too well.

This is a Piotroski Value positive pick - Implying very very risky and disliked ...but it met all the positve factors going for it to have a chance of beating the market

Supervalue is a large distributor of food products to grocery stores. Their P/E is just about 12. Their presence in Minnesota is unmatched. I'd look for a decent ROI by the end of 2008.
