Being tased will always be a kinder, gentler alternative to a bone shattering bullet or repeated whacks with a nightstick. Heck, now police departments are being sued by grieving family members of people who police shot with a gun because they didn’t use Tasers instead! Product liability lawsuits are being dismissed since judges don’t consider them an unreasonable use of force. Attorneys are getting the message there’s no “easy money” to be had since TASR files motions for sanctions for attorneys' fees and court costs. Frivolous lawsuits
