on My Watchlist
The Company is a finance company that provides customized financing solutions to lower middle market companies located throughout the United States.
I love the dividend and it's a well managed company with an Roe of 15. This is like a private equity ETF. You can go to their website and look at all of the companies that they own. Their holdings are well diversified and they have a ton of cash.
This is more like a private equity CEF than an ETF. Unlike an ETF there is no guarantee that TCAP's market price will approximate its NAV, and indeed the mkt is 88% higher than NAV.Also the ROE of 15% you mention is at NAV; your "personal ROE" for shares bought at market today would be closer to 8% (trailing). For a levered fund larded up with low-quality mezz debt that's not a great number.
