S&P 2007 Target $38, 3 starsA leader in the highly fragmented generic drug market, with an expanding product line and geographic diversity with low-cost production. Profit progress is strong, but unsteady, given intense competition, as well as challenges by the branded drug industry.Lower earnings growth for 2007 after a big jump in 2006. Expect growth to pick up after 2007 when drug patents expire and the demand for generic drugs increases. Jim Cramer says sell.
