Since it was the "Battle of the Discounters" article that made me sign up, might as well pitch my two cents. I'm not comfortable investing in a company that people go out of their way to make bad press about... Walmart, whether it deserves it or not...

Well run and good pricing. Most people would gladly pay 10 cents more in order to avoid the zoo over at Walmart.

As a former employee and long time shopper, I'm confident that Target will continue to outperform the market. When Wal-Mart is taking cue and trying to emulate Target, you know they are doing something right.

Just the most focused, well managed retailer on this planet. More efficient than WalMart, owns the demographic their competition drools over and has room for accelerated top,line and bottomline growth into new areas.

It's no Walmart but I much prefer shopping at Target. Less crowded, cleaner stores and much nicer customers. It's not going to skyrocket in the face of a recession like Walmart but expect it to do better than average against the market.
