Having been born and raised in Canada, I understand the significance of this company not only as a profitable venture, but also as a cultural icon. I mean, c'mon, the Canadian government spent millions of taxpayer dollars to setup a store in Afghanistan for the Canadian troops stationed there on a peace keeping mission, and the public embraced it!! They are to Canada what mom's homemade apple pie is to America. I also love that they're not only a coffee and donuts shop anymore (try one of their sandwiches), and have been steadily increasing same-store revenues as a result.
