Africa is the next big growth story. TKG is undervalued. It operates both landline and cellular (via Vodacom). It expands outside of South Africa, where cell phone penetration is still low.

I simply used the screener to find all of the 5 star stocks with the greatest 52-week losses. 5 stars should make them good picks and the high 52-week loss should make them cheap. We’ll see how it works!

An infrastructure play in an emerging market... A market that is growing FAST.That does lead to volatility though, hence the bad year.But with a PE of 7ish and a crazy high yield, how can you not like this stock?

A majority of Africa is a mess, but the poverty is so widespread, that must come if corruption ever begins to lessen its strangle hold on the continent. I find myself over allocated in telecoms in an attempt to grab certain growth areas. ...
