I have decided for the next serveral weeks to change my investment strategy to be short stocks trading between $1.50 and below $10 with a market cap of more than $100 million. My goal is to acheive at least a 60% sucess rate of beating the S&P Index. I am looking for 30% of my picks beating the S&P Index by more than 5% with an average per pick of at least 1.50. I am only looking to hold these positions for approximately 10-15 days. All the picks that I select are from screening criteria that I have developed using software from Vectorvest. I find it to be a good screening tool. For game playing purposes, since I always try to have 200 picks going at once, it's a shot gun approach with only short term trading in mind.
