I bought TNH stock a while back, mostly for the good dividend. I've been through some ups and downs with it, the past year has been a wholluping up. As one would imagine, the company is very much affected by what is going on in agriculture, their customer base, and the price of natural gas, their main ingredient. Higher demands for corn ethanol has bolstered TNH's revenue over the past year, and wise moves on procurement of natural gas has helped their costs. Over the winter, I expect TNH to hold steady, then see some more upside come next year. Keep an eye on agriculture and natural gas with this one though, sometimes the ride can be as bumpy as a biodiesel powered tractor in a rained out cornfield!! Did I spell biodiesel right? Should there be a hyphen? Did someone say mild winter and wetter spring in '08??

Fertilizer stocks to start merging? That equals to more upsideas the buyer will be paying a premium. The little fish in Fertilizer stocks are TRA, & TNH,If this sector is going to consolidate as reported by the National Postthat POT may be bought out, then I believe the smaller cap stocks TRA& TNH could be gobbled up by the bigger fish as well.Full Story that POT might be bought out:http://www.nationalpost.com/rss/Story.html?id=261358
