I worked for Thomson West, the biggest of the Thomson companies, and it is a super company. They sell legal publications and the premier online legal research service called Westlaw. Lawyers depend on their case summaries and law records, so no other company can touch them because they control the content. The Internet has become more important to everyone, including lawyers. Also lawyers aren't going away, so there's a steady need for Thomson West's products. I don't know anything about the other Thomson companies, though. I'll pick it!
