It is getting harder and harder for the shareholders to gauge profit taking for themselves because the insider trading is fierce!! CEO and his team are hard to beat to the punch before the stock falls and falls. TRN is graded an F for ownership. When the insiders sell millions and millions of dollars worth of stock, it is very, very negative. Just check the insider transactions for a recap! They really seem to be enjoying their little monopoly of selling off the company store.
I just went to insidercow.com and did a search on TRN and found no indication of the insider trading that you were talking about. The last sale I see was back in July and I've seen only buying since then and the buying over the last year seems to be outweighing the selling by a very large margin. Please let me know if you have another source for your information or if you know something that I don't.
this is weird, cause i see loads of insider buying the past year. if your going to short something, short a 400 p/e stock, not an 8 p/e stock trading at 1.8 book and a p/s at .6.
I, too, see only buying since June of last year. It's true that they seem to be playing games with ownership, but who wouldn't sell at $48 and repurchase at $25?
