my 19 year old son bought 50 shares of TTWO at 18. Said "When GTAIV breaks it will rocket" That got delayed a few times and stock tanked. I kept asking if he was going to sell...he said not yet. Then EA made its offer so he sold at 26+ and will re buy at 19 or lower. He says TTWO will be North of 30 by May.I think I will make this play with him....never thought I would follow a game stock...

Same. Only I originally bought at 14.8 :D Currently waiting for the heat from EA to die down so I can buy again low before GTA hits.

I think the trade may be done on this one for now, but who knows...

I agree. It might rise again on the next quarterly report if GTA sales were way above expected but the money I got from TTWO and was hoping to buy in again with I already placed elsewhere, so watching this stock is more of an "opening the last numbered suitcase in Deal-or-no-Deal even though the game is already over" kind of thing for me.

I would put real money in ATVI over TTWO any day of the week.

Your 19 year old son is wise beyond his years :) I'm 31 but I still play video games a lot... I just bought a PS3 just so I could play GTA4. I know at least 5 other people that did the same. Plus at least another 5 that bought XBOX 360s, *just for GTA4*. The sales of this game have already surpassed the "record-breaking" sales of Halo 3 ($500 million and counting compared to $300 million and stagnating...) Once this company gets bought out by EA, assuming EA doesn't stifle their creativity with bullsh*t (which is always a possibility when you get swallowed up by such a big fish), they will continue to crank out awesome games. EA will most likely give them what they deserve which is roughly $30/share. Ride this one til the buyout guys (and maybe pick some up IRL while it's on the down side).
