Railroads..... More companies are shifting over to them. Think about it, They get 415 mpg, the take over 500 trucks off the road and they only have 2 men on the trains.

With the high cost of gas more and more companies will be shipping via railroad to save in costs.

this is a long term company. look for an increase with personal driving to expensive.

UNP lags the rails due to leadership and focus in the field. Happily, that's changing and with the biggest and best rail franchise in the land UNP is finally set to outperform.

A very old company, with a huge presence in the U.S. Railroads are the lifeblood of this country, so I think it's a good choice.

with the higher costs of transporting product accross the nation by truck union pacific has the capability to move more things at one time and allow the shipping costs to be broke down and divided amoung more people to lower costsof transporting good...
