Have you guys been to India, China, or Russia lately? These countries are undergoing a massive transformation. The “middle class”, which we take for granted here in the states, is gaining strength in the rest of the world. This is huge. Think about it, millions and millions of people are now able to afford a car, house, and a trip Disneyland, just like you. You thought you were special because your income allows you to buy gas at $3.50 a gallon for your Land Rover? In the 21st century, you are still special, but the number of people that feel that same entitlement has grown substantially. And it’s just going to keep on growing. If you want to keep pumping that gas in 10 years, you better buy some good stocks because it’s going to cost you a fortune. Companies in the oil business will have to try real hard not to make money in this environment. So why are you still reading? Go buy some UNT, hop on your land rover, and make me some money, damn it.
