With a low store count (less than 200 stores), this retailer has lots of room to grow. It's got a portfolio of "aspirational" lifestyle brands through its three concepts, all of which intend to attract hipster/bohemian types, and I believe that its brand and style have few direct competitors (although at times I've wondered if Target is a bit of a threat, since it provides some hip home furnishings and clothes, but much cheaper than URBN). URBN also has engaged management -- President Richard Hayne is a cofounder and owns a significant stake in the company. Although it has recently suffered from some fashion missteps in its merchandising, I believe it's also been knocked down too low, like many retailers over the summer.
