There are 7 new plants being built over next 18 months and 3 plant expansions in the wallboard industry. The price of Wallboard will drop the 50% of what it was in June 2006 in the next 12 months.

Housing is not near the bottom until you see plant closures, layoffs and bankruptcies. I work in credit in the wallboard industry (not USG) and things are just starting to get bad.

Do you thing USG will go bankrupt? Or USG taking marketshare after bankruptcies of others?
Was the drop in price not enough?

Never bankrupt again. Once the housing debacle is over they'll be king of the hill. Just don't buy in till Jan 2008.
