US shied away from nuclear power and at this point even the mines in the US are operated by foreign companies. Until our mining technology is developed, USEC is one of the only smart plays to provide uranium for existing and planned reactors.Have watched for a while.

Disclaimer: Bought at 11 sold at 18 just to see it pull back then jump to 20. Rebought at 20 and expect to hold and add to for the next couple years.
