This is my first rating of any stock so for what it is worth from a new fool, the stock price of Vasco (11.90) seems to be a knee jerk reaction to missing 4th quarter street projections. I listened to the teleconference discussing 4th qtr results hosted by their Chairman, Ken Hunt. His comment on disappointng quarter was that three large orders were delayed until 2008 for three different reasons which are now resolved and the orders will be completed. He also pointed out that the last two quarters of 2008 did meet company guidance and the fact the street projected better returns is out of his control. With the actural numbers for 2007 showing revenue growth of 58%, operating income of 28% of revenue, net cash balance increase of 200% and continued investment into infrastructure to secure future growth, things don't look that dire. The 2008 guidance called for slightly lower projections over 2007 still look pretty solid. I doubled up on my shares and am going to hold on for the long term. I look forward to reading comments from other fools about today's events.

This may go up somewhere, but mgmt and dirs are summarily unimpressive. Also, no celebrated contracts (at least on the site) beyond perhaps ABN AMRO that suggest access to big enterprise. So how are they claiming the kind of rev growth needed to meet unchanged estimates?
