This company has been doing a terrific job over the last year of becoming a major player in the security device business for American banks. You've probably seen them and you may already have one. Vasco makes the system that provides you with a little device that produces a security code that you have to type into your web browser in order to access your online banking system. The code changes every few seconds and is synchronized with the banks internal systems. This is what is known as two factor security because you have to both know something (your password) and have something (the little number generating device). It goes a long way in preventing unauthorized people from logging into your banking system. In 2006, Vasco signed up nearly one bank a week to use their system. While this is only one piece of what they do as a company, it has the added benefit of carrying their brand on the device. A good way to become a household name.
