I live in the Philippines and use Vonage for my business phone lines and it is fantastic. My customer can call a local Califonia number, so they do not even know I moved my business. I started my business in 1994 and moved to the Phillipines in 2006, with this service it was a easy move and no loss of business. I agree that the cable companies will take some of Vonage customers, but remember there are a lot of internet providers who also have customers, but do not offer them the VIOP service. I see a growth in this market, perhaps by partnering with these providers. Also, I agree that Vonage has a good prospect of being a buyout to one of the bigger Cable Companies. Plus, there is a very big market for customers who want to call America. Just think of how many filipinos there are in the states, they can send a Vonage box to there relatives and get free phone calls back and forth. Not to mention the Mexican's in American could send a box to their relatives in Mexico and have unlimited contact. There are for sure a market for this product , that a cell phone does not offer. In one to two years I believe they will reach $6-10 per share. I rate Vonage as a Strong Buy, lots of room to go up.

Did you look @ the financial statements for Vonage??? They are cash poor with a ton of debt and also they have not posted positive earnings for the past few years. They are losing a lot of money. Liking the product does and a viable market for it does not always guarantee success for the company.
