VG stinks as an investment. They have no inherent competetive advantage other than their name recognition, and that is a barrier to entry that can be easily surmounted. If T or VZ decides they want to dominate this space, they will. If a competitor solves the service quality issue experienced by so many users, VG will be at a competitive disadvantage.

Plus the personal history of their CEO makes me doubt very much that this company will be a high-flier in the future. You can't market your way to success in a technology-based industry.

I had Vonage and dropped it; I use a competing service now.
