Viacom has a lot of value tied up in its cable assets. Not only can the MTV Networks segment produce cheap programming that demand nice ad dollars, but it also can charge fees to cable systems for placement. Cable is where it's at these days, and cable channels have seen a lot of growth. Network television is losing a lot of viewers to cable. For this reason, I really like Viacom's prospects as opposed to the prospects of CBS.
